The Public Authority for Stores & Food Reserve
Overview The Public Authority for Stores & Food Reserve
The PASFR was founded by the Royal Decree 62/ 1980 issued on the 5th of July 1980. It has legal personality, and its Board of Director is chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry. The PASFR undertakes storing and redistributing of basic food commodities for all nationals and expatriates.

Providing the basic food commodities for the population of Oman.
Goals
Storing food commodities and reserve.
Objectives
The main objectives of PASFR is to construct stores and warehouses for storing basic commodities, maintaining a minimum reserve constantly, and preparing a food distribution plan for contingencies.
