Persons of different scientific experience, both nationals and residents in the Sultanate.

Steps to follow to request the service

  1. Submitting a letter to Experts Affairs Department for registration in experts register .
  2. Completing the application form for registration in experts register after meeting all conditions set out in the attached conditions form .

      1. Copy of passport.
      2. Copy of identity card, for Omanis..
      3. Copy of labour card, for non-Omanis..
      4. Copy of academic qualifications and certificates of specialization, authenticated by the competent authorities.
      5. Copy of academic qualificationsauthenticated by the competent authorities.
      6. Certificate of good conduct, for Omanis .
      7. Certificate of non-conviction, for non-Omanis.
      8. Certificate To Whom It May Concern from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry authorizing the practice of profession..
      9. Medical examination report.
      10. Two (2) photographs
      11. List of the jobs practised by applicant in the field of his specialization ( curriculum vitae-C.V)..
      12. Non- objection letter from sponsor, for non-Omanis.
      13. A proof that the applicant is not government employee

      Special conditions if any applicable

      1. The applicant must have been practising for five years after obtaining the university qualification.
      2. The applicant must be specialized in the relevant field of registration.
      3. The applicant must not a government employee.
      4. The applicant must have obtained a licence from the competent authority.
      5. Non- Omani applicant must be resident in the Sultanate.
      6. How the service is processed

        Applicant shall be notified by mail and telephone whether his application is accepted or not.

        How long will it take

        One month from the date of its submission.
